South Glasgow Hospital
Boston Networks are installing a cutting edge cabling and security solution for the new South Glasgow Hospital.
This prolific project will encorporate; Structured Cabling, IP CCTV, IP Access Control and the Intruder Alarm system for the entire hospital campus and it will see our engineering team lay over 1.5 million metres of structured cabling! Watch this space for the full press release.
East Renfrewshire Council
Boston Networks has recently been awarded the contract to support and maintain the existing Public Space CCTV system across East Renfrewshire and also manage the migration to an IP CCTV Delivery and Recording system. Read more

Influence of IT managers increasing as local public services turn to technology to bring service delivery costs down
A recent report, commissioned on behalf of Socitm states, “IT management appears to be wielding greater influence in local public services as local authorities and others turn to technology to help them cope with dramatically reduced budgets.”
Furthermore, the following key findings were revealed:
• Spending on contracted services (including service sharing) increases
• Organisations begin to allow employees to use own devices at work
• IT staff numbers down by 5,000 – largest reduction in 25 years
