Industry leading network security specialist, Boston Networks, has been awarded the contract to design and deliver a new critical CCTV Control Centre for East Renfrewshire Council. Furthermore, Boston Networks will manage and maintain the Council’s CCTV surveillance solution to ensure increased levels of public safety throughout the council area.
Today in East Renfrewshire there are more than 150 cameras covering key locations including schools, council buildings and various public spaces. Each camera is directly linked to the existing control centre which is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. The updated control centre is set to be the Council’s first step on its migration path from analogue to IP technology offering a myriad of enhanced functionality and more effective recording and storage of critical footage.
Not only is Boston Networks committed to delivering a robust, cost effective and scalable solution it will also maintain the Council’s CCTV estate for the next 3 years; guaranteeing East Renfrewshire unrivalled 24/7 maintenance and support from our Glasgow based Network Operation Centre (NOC).
