Complete system upgrade will accelerate the migration to an IP surveillance solution
Boston Networks has completed the CCTV Control Room upgrade at Glasgow Fort, delivering a single monitoring platform and facilitating the gradual migration, from analogue technology, to a high performance IP surveillance solution.
Glasgow Fort is a large shopping and Leisure Park home to 80 retail units, 10 Restaurants, a Vue Cinema complex and 1,900 car parking spaces. With an increasing number of shoppers, diners and visitors and late shopping hours Glasgow Fort recognised that a more encompassing and high performing security system was required.
With the addition of digital encoders, to all of the existing CCTV cameras, and a Video Management System (VMS), the new control room now provides a centralised location to monitor the entire retail and leisure park and car park’s footage.
Key benefits of the solution include:
- Efficient video management
- Future-Proof IP migration
- Cost-effective, flexible and scalable
- Multi-site monitoring
- Centralised management
