Boston Networks is to attend Mobile World Congress 2017. Being held from the 27 February to 2 March at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Boston Networks will be located at the Scotland Pavilion (Hall 7 Strand 7B31), which will play host to a small number of leading edge Scottish technology and digital companies, attending as part of the Scottish Development International (SDI) national delegation.

The four-day event provides attendees with an understanding of the latest technological developments and trends, and offers unparalleled opportunities to see how mobile technologies can benefit their businesses.
Operating at the forefront of wireless Internet of Things (IoT), Boston Networks forms part of a Glasgow based consortium deploying LPWAN Wide Area IoT networks across a number of key Scottish towns and cities, including Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Paisley and Orkney. The LPWAN networks will enable local businesses, communities and authorities to develop and utilise sensor based devices throughout urban and rural areas to develop new products and services to boost economic growth, drive cost efficiencies and enhance the quality of life.
Boston Networks Chief Executive, Scott McEwan and Head of Public Sector Sales, Craig Scott, will be on hand throughout the event to discuss the latest IoT developments, looking at the pivotal role LPWAN IoT networks will play in the deployment of effective, impactful and flexible Smart Cities and Communities.
