Boston Networks Engineer Shortlisted for SJIB Apprentice of the Year Award

Boston Networks Modern Apprentice, Jordan Gilchrist, has beenJordan Gilchrist Boston Networks Apprentice of the Year announced as a finalist in the Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) and Edmundson Electrical Apprentice of the Year competition.

Initially selected as one of the top twenty apprentices in Scotland, Jordan was shortlisted to the top six, and then named as one of the last three following a selection process which included a written application, testimonial and panel interviews.

Jordan, who completed his Modern Apprentice at West College Scotland has been with Boston Networks for 3 years. Through this time he has excelled in his role, continually demonstrating a positive and professional approach in all that he does.

Robert Moore, Construction Services Director, commented:
“We are extremely proud that Jordan has been shortlisted for the SJIB Apprentice of the Year competition.  It is fantastic achievement and is testament to Jordan, who is a very hardworking, dedicated and driven member of the team here at Boston Networks.”

The winner will be announced at the SELECT Industry Awards which takes place on Friday 13th October at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.  Jordan will attend the ceremony with his family and representatives from Boston Networks.
