What’s in a Warranty?

With so many varieties of structured cabling infrastructure on the market, end Inside Networks Dec 17users have to make a number of important decisions when it comes to selecting which system best meets their needs.

This month’s Inside Networks magazine Question & Answer feature asks what documentation end users should request to confirm that a structured cabling installation has been carried out, and will perform to, an agreed standard? How important should warranties be in an end user’s purchasing criteria and do they offer genuine value and peace of mind, or are they simply a marketing gimmick?
