This week, Boston Networks will attend Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The event, which is held from the 26th February – 1st March, is organised by the GSMA and is the world’s largest mobile industry exhibition and conference.
Boston Networks are attending as part of a Scottish Development International delegation of leading edge companies from Scotland’s technologies sector.
Mobile World Congress provides a platform for mobile operators, and vendors from across the world to showcase their latest technological developments and trends, and offer delegates the opportunity to gather, network, and exchange ideas on how mobile technologies can best benefit their businesses.
Operating at the forefront of wireless Internet of Things (IoT) networks, Boston Networks is part of a Glasgow based consortium who are deploying LPWAN Wide Area IoT networks across Scotland. LPWAN networks enable local businesses, communities and authorities to develop and utilise sensor based devices throughout urban and rural areas, and to design new products and services to boost economic growth, drive cost efficiencies and enhance the quality of life.
Boston Networks Chief Technology Officer, Falk Bleyl, is attending as part of the delegation and will be on hand throughout to discuss the very latest IoT developments Boston Networks are working on to create more efficient and flexible Smart Cities and Communities.
