Following a competitive OJEU tender process, Boston Networks has been awarded places on both Lots 1 and 2 of the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium framework agreement to deliver Telecoms and Data Cabling Services.
The framework serves universities in the North East of England, including Newcastle, Durham, Northumbria, Teesside, and Sunderland, and is set to run for up to 4 years with an estimated annual value of £3.5M.
Boston Networks was one of only a handful of companies awarded places on the multi-lot framework, and who can now offer their infrastructure-based solutions and services to major educational establishments across the North East.
Boston Networks Director, Paul Goodbrand, commented:
“We’re extremely proud to be one of only a few businesses to be awarded places on both Lots 1 and 2 of the NEUPC Telecoms and Data Cabling Services framework. We have been working in partnership with major UK Universities over the past few years, and now following expansion and acquisition into the North East we are looking forward to supporting the Universities of Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside”.
“This is an important step for Boston Networks, as this award will enable us to further expand our footprint and presence in the North East of England and will widen our education portfolio.”
