Scott McEwan, Chief Executive

Scott co-founded Boston Networks in 2000 following a number of years in Networking & Building Services Operations, Sales and Engineering and, from the outset, played a key role in the development of Boston’s diverse client base, the management of our growing staff base and laterally the acquisition of Tough Security Systems. 

As Chief Executive, Scott has driven the company's growth and transition from a network integrator to an all-encompassing Intelligent Building, Fire & Security and Managed Service provider.

Spearheading the company, Scott determines, communicates and ensures the strategic direction of Boston Networks is highly focused, efficient and successful. Ultimately responsible for the company’s performance and operational integrity, Scott ensures that his Senior Team is fully supported ensuring and that Boston Networks remains at the forefront of the market. 


Paul Goodbrand, Operations Director

Paul joined Boston Networks in 2002 and has played a pivotal role in the growth of the company as Director of Intelligent Buildings. 

A certified BICSI RCDD, during his career, Paul has developed an all-encompassing knowledge of emerging IP technologies and has worked on the design and development of a wide variety of complex network infrastructures and converged security solutions.

In his role as Operations Director, Paul combines his technological expertise and commercial insight to manage and continuously improve the efficiency of the Engineering, Projects and Service Delivery departments.

Falk Bleyl, Chief Technology Officer

Falk joined Boston Networks in 2017 as Chief Technology Officer, having previously held a number of senior technology and Product Marketing roles with leading Networking and Telecoms companies. 

A skilled technologist with over 20 years’ experience, Falk has a demonstrable track record in delivering large scale and complex technical and commercial projects for a wide range of businesses and public-sector organisations.

In his role as CTO, Falk is responsible for technology strategy, research and development, Boston Networks Network Operations Centre (NOC) and for leading the technical team. 

Brian McGinley, Service Delivery Director

Brian joined the team early in 2000 and continues to contribute daily to the increasing efficiencies and high performance of our Project Delivery Department.

A qualified Prince 2 Practitioner, Brian combines his in-depth project management knowledge with a sound technical understanding to forecast  the probability of project success, analyse risks and make sound commercial decisions.

Managing multiple internal and external relationships, Brian is responsible for the delivery of a range of diverse projects from planning and design right through to project closure.

Robbie Ballantine, Technical Project Manager

For over a decade Robbie has added substantive value to the planning, delivery and management of key wireless projects. 

As a member of our Senior Team, Robbie leads our Technical Team’s on a wide range of projects, encompassing Wireless LAN’s, Point to Point/Multipoint, Microwave Radio and Broadband Fixed Wireless Access solutions.

Possessing an adept understanding of Telecom Networks and Wireless Systems, Robbie’s role also maintains that Boston Networks work with the best Technological Partners to ensure our diverse client base receive the most effective solutions for both their immediate and future  needs.

Iain Kerr, Contracts Manager

Joining Boston in 2005, Iain has played an instrumental role in the development and management of our highly skilled and growing engineering base.
Working closely with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, Iain leads our Engineering Teams on some of our larger projects throughout the UK and Europe
As well as project delivery, Iain’s strategic role focuses on the operational management of the contracts department, ensuring that synergies across the business are streamlined and departmental budgets and maximised to increase efficiency.

Debbie Lawler, Finance Manager

A key member of the Finance Department, Debbie is responsible for the financial planning, forecasting and financial efficiency of the company.

An instrumental part of Debbie’s role is the financial monitoring of all contracts as well as ensuring the company engages with commercially sound organisations and partners.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders, Debbie delivers financial efficiencies across all departments of the business including regular financial reporting for the board of directors. 

Charlotte Malone, Service Delivery Manager

Charlotte manages the Boston Networks Service and Maintenance Division. Working internally with the Engineering Teams, Charlotte is responsible for the expansive service engineering resource and helpdesk facility to guarantee SLA’s are delivered effectively and efficiently. 

With a sound understanding of the IT, Fire & Security Service industry, Charlotte also works closely with our clients to provide guidance on the type of support they require, whilst ensuring our Maintenance offerings are fit for purpose, all-encompassing and meet with the necessary industry and health and safety standards. 

Robert Moore, Fire Systems Director

With 40 years’ experience in engineering, installation and project management in the Fire and Security and Building Services sectors, Robert has a wealth of experience in the design, delivery and support of intelligent Fire Safety and Security systems for the Local Government, Energy and Defence sectors.

Heading up the Fire Safety division, Robert is responsible for delivering industry leading technology, solutions and support to clients and for enhancing our position as a leader in the Fire Safety and Security market.

Anne Donnelly, Bid & Client Operations Manager

Anne is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic client relationships and for enhancing the Bid Management process to further develop the companies market leading position in the Energy, Public and Enterprise sectors.

Utilising her extensive experience in Sales and Customer Operations in the Enterprise and Public sectors, Anne is focused on developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients to ensure we achieve our customer service excellence goals.


Claire McNeil, Quality & Compliance Manager

Claire heads up the Boston Networks Quality & Compliance team and is responsible for ensuring compliance to regulatory standards and adherence to all areas and aspects of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety.

With extensive experience of implementing and auditing Quality Management Systems and implementing Environmental strategies, Claire is responsible for delivering continuous improvement and for challenging and improving policies and processes throughout all areas of the business.


Audrey Schaefer, Marketing Communications Manager

Audrey joined Boston Networks in 2015. With 15 years' marketing experience, Audrey works closely with the Senior Management, Sales and Technical teams to plan, deliver, manage and measure Boston Networks marketing communications plans and activities.

As well as marketing, Audrey is also responsible for managing the company’s Corporate and Social Responsibility and Community Engagement activities and is passionate about undertaking projects that deliver value to the communities in which we operate and work in.
